Julie Salamon (Wall Street Journal & NY Times) sits down with political leader and social justice advocate Ruth W. Messinger. Ruth is the Global Ambassador for American Jewish World Service, an international human rights organization she ran from 1998-2016. Additionally, she does social justice and organizing work at the Jewish Theological Seminary and at the Meyerson JCC, and teaches Jewish women social justice entrepreneurs. Ruth is a trained social worker, and previously had a twenty-year career in elected office in New York City. She serves on several boards, has 3 children, 8 grand-children and 3.5 great grandchildren.
