AJHS Hit A Home Run With Its Night of Jewish Baseball

While baseball’s spring training for 2013 unfolded in Florida and Arizona, a special New York event opened the new season. The American Jewish Historical Society presented “A Night of Jewish Baseball” on February 27, 2013 at its headquarters at the Center for Jewish History.

A special thank you to Marty Appel Public Relations for all of his tremendous efforts in coordinating this fabulous evening. This sold-out event featured a wonderful silent auction, a display of rarely seen sports memorabilia from the AJHS collection, including signed jerseys from Hank Greenberg and Sandy Koufax, and stadium-style refreshments. The evening culminated with a lively panel discussion moderated by Emmy award winning sportscaster, Len Berman and included:
